Out of the Way Places

After writing the teleplays for Out of the Way Places, Bill received a number of kind comments from people who read them.  Several mentioned one idea that had never occured to him: write them as short stories.  Bill had adopted a unique "hybrid" narrative form for his teleplays, designed to make the scripts easier to read since each story was a standalone in terms of characters and settings.  That choice made the scripts, he was told , read like short stories.  So he elected to give it a try with five of his stories: Rolodex, Thru Your Eyes, The Return Phone Call, Gunfighter and The Monsters. 

The result is his first book, Out of  the Way Places Volume I which you will find below.
